MOSAIK invites artists to explore Zurich’s neighbourhoods through socially engaged and intercultural artistic practices.
We are looking for artists interested in observing, listening and connecting with people living in Kreis 4, 7 or 9. The call focuses on everyday life, relationships, shared spaces and the often-overlooked stories that shape a neighbourhood.
Projects can take any artistic form and should include a digital component that can also be experienced online. Selected works will be presented during the MOSAIK Festival in June 2027 and become part of an online archive of artistic perspectives on Zurich’s neighbourhoods.
We especially encourage applications from artists with roots in different places or connections to more than one culture.
We are looking for projects that:
- engage with local communities and everyday life
- take an intercultural approach
- are open, attentive and socially sensitive
- explore relationships, spaces and neighbourhood stories
What we offer:
- artist fee: 3000CHF
- curatorial support and exchange
- visibility through the MOSAIK programme and website
Who can apply:
